👩‍🏫 About Zainab

I am a kindergarten director and early years educator based in Dubai, with a deep commitment to improving early childhood education — because it's not only about teaching, it's about shaping generations and personalities.

Behind every qualification is the same question I kept asking myself: what happens to the families who don't have access to any of this? Pehla Qadam is my answer — taking the standards I practice every day in Dubai and making them freely available to every mother in Pakistan, regardless of her circumstances.

💙 Why Pehla Qadam Exists

Every mother deserves to feel confident raising her child — whether she's holding her newborn for the first time, or simply doesn't have a kindergarten nearby. In much of Pakistan, sending a young child to school isn't yet common practice. Pehla Qadam was built so that distance, cost, or circumstance never has to stand between a child and the support they deserve. With the right guidance, home can be just as powerful a place to learn as any classroom.

There is a second, deeply personal reason this platform exists. For many families of children with additional needs, nothing seems out of place until school age — and by then, years of early intervention have already been lost. Our milestone checklists give parents a simple way to observe their child's development at home. If something feels different, a mother won't have to wait for someone else to notice. She'll already know, and she'll know in time.

Looking ahead, we are working to connect families directly with qualified professionals through this platform — so that a concern at home can lead to real guidance, not just information.
